Deal's Wheels signed prints direct from the Big Deal himself!
This is truly a unique opportunity for any Deal's Wheels or Dave Deal artwork collector. The Big Deal is very thorough about hanging onto his original artwork or making high quality photographs for his records. Dave has now delved into his personal collection and has made a series of prints of the original artwork for all of the Deal's Wheels series, plus 2 extras related to Deal's Wheels as described below!
We all know and love the box art of the Deal's Wheels series, but as nice as the boxes are, the offset printing process used in the 70's to create boxes lost a lot of the detail and "crispness"of the original artwork. Plus the original artwork was done in a larger size, so the box art is actually a reduction of the originals. But now you can purchase these fine quality prints and see the artwork as it was originally created, in all of its full blown detail and coloring and without the text and logos that were overlayed in a later process! I asked Dave to describe the print process as it is an expensive process on special paper. Here is his reply: "The prints are to be handled just as watercolors are, and they are just as permanent as watercolor paints. They are Gicleé water based colors on premium paper. It is best to frame and cover with UV glass to prevent sun fading, and certainly not to place them in direct sunlight. These requirements are the same for everyday watercolor paintings. The prints are bright and colorful, and are better reproductions than the originals, just as you have already stated in the text."
Each print you purchase will be signed by Dave Deal. This is not a reproduced signature, but an actual hand-signing on each print you purchase. Prints will be shipped directly to you from Dave.

Dave Deal artwork proposal signed print- Snoopy and Red Baron
This is a rather unique and never-publicized set. Dave Deal prepared a clay model of Snoopy and placed it in the Lucky Pierre plane for this photograph. This was for Revell's consideration, for a proposed boxed model set of Snoopy and the Red Baron. As you can see, the proposed Red Baron plane was a monoplane rather than the 5 winged Funfdecker Fokker from the original Deal's Wheels series, and the Baron is hot on the tail of the Snoopy-piloted bipe! The boxed set was never made, but now we can see what it would have looked like had it been produced. Unlike the above prints, this print represents photographs (rather than artwork) of the 2 built models that were enhanced and manipulated in a computer program by Dave to get this end result.
